GETTING TO KNOW THE TEACHER!

 Born raised and educated in Richmond Virginia ,I am a graduate of Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Arts Education  . I have been in the education system both public , private and charter for over 10 years and have taught students in both Elementary and Middle Schools  in both Virginia and North Carolina. Prior to Teaching here I was an Elementary Teacher and Former Instructional  Assistant in Durham Public Schools  as well as a Elementary Education and Exceptional Children Teacher for Newport News Public School System however it has been my joy to educate the young Leaders at IDYL for over 5 years. 

 

I am a wife and mother of two wonderful children and also serve as the Academic Dean for IDYL Charter Schol. I believe that each of my students are tomorrow’s leaders and succeed at anything they wish to do! As a teacher I encourage my students to see their potential and dream big dreams because I believe in their success.

It is my pleasure to teach your student and lead them into be  successful in anything they attempt!
